Mr. John has recently been featured in American Liquid Waste Magazine for donating more than $200,000 in portable restrooms to Habitat for Humanity projects. For more than a decade, Mr. John has been committed to supporting sustainable housing for families across the region. When Habitat for Humanity volunteers set out for the day to build homes for deserving families, lack of access to restrooms imposes some complications.

As Corporate Development Officer for Paterson Habitat said, “We get almost 4,000 volunteers a year at our sites. If we didn’t have Mr. John donating these facilities, our volunteers would have to spend time driving to and from our offices to use the bathroom, taking valuable time away from the project… Not having to spend money renting porta-potties allows us to put that money directly into every home we build.”

Giving back to the community and helping to revitalize communities is a cause Mr. John President Gary Weiner is committed to continuing and expanding. Weiner says, “Some Habitat Volunteers are also construction workers, which is a major industry we serve. So it just makes sense to offer up this service. It makes a substantial impact in transforming these neighborhoods.”
