Support Services
Disaster Relief
Hurricane KatrinaHurricane Katrina resulted in one of the most devastating natural disasters in the country's history. The lives of the people affected were changed in a matter of hours.
To support the relief effort, the Russell Reid company provided waste management services while Mr. John provided thousands of portable restrooms.
Russell Reid and Mr. John employees worked alongside relief workers to reach a common goal of helping individuals in New Orleans, Chalmette and other cities in the surrounding areas that suffered damage.
In September of 2005, Russell Reid deployed men and equipment to the Gulf in an effort to aid in the cleanup in the wake of the Katrina disaster. Teams of company employees selflessly volunteered to leave theirfamilies behind to travel to the effected areas to perform this important work. The company delivered and serviced thousands of portable toilets, performed bulk hauling of wastewater, and provided jet vac services to clean sewers and catch basins.
The success of the relief effort was due to the company's highly skilled workforce and focused branch operations lead by a superior project management team.
While completing this initiative, Russell Reid employees were still able to seamlessly execute the day to day work of the company. The regular services that we provide for our local customers were not interrupted.
